SCRAP
(2024)
Amidst the vast and seemingly chaotic industry of scrap metal in Brooklyn, NY, Jackson uses still life to examine the metals on a more intimate level, minding their sharp edges, bends and folds, shapes and patterns, reflections, corrosion and rust.
The project was exhibited as part of Shared Spaces, a group show from recent graduates of the International Center of Photography, as well as On Going, a group show highlighting local artists in Seattle, WA.
