What started as a curiosity for waste and recycling systems became a fascination in scrap materials and their unique sculptural properties.
Amidst the vast and seemingly chaotic industry of scrap metal, Jackson uses still life to examine the materials on a more intimate level, minding their sharp edges, bends and folds, shapes and patterns, reflections, corrosion and rust.
