ABOUT

Jackson Chihuly is a photographer born and raised in Seattle, Washington. After graduating from California Polytechnic State University in 2020, he moved to New York to develop his photographic practice. In 2024, he completed the Documentary & Visual Practice program at the International Center of Photography in New York City, where he continues to live and work. His photographs have been exhibited in galleries in New York and Seattle.

His work examines the material and human dimensions of industry and the environment through documentary still life and portraiture. He is drawn to the tools, materials, and processes that define our built and natural surroundings, and to the people whose lives and labor are connected to them. Through photography, he documents these subjects with attention to their form, history, and context.
